Due to the changing climate since COVID-19, we have been offering adapted in-person programs at the Placer Nature Center. We can potentially offer homeschool or small group programs for any day of the week – please refer to our school programs brochure to select a program. The cost is $10 per child per hour for our small group programs, with a $60 per hour minimum.
Our Small Group Programs are based on our regular school programming, offering environmental education and nature connection in a small group setting that is less structured than the school classroom. We learn through educational activities, play games, do crafts and take short hikes on the nature trail.
If you are interested in establishing a regular program for your group (once a week, or once a month), please reach out and let us know about the ages and interests of your students.
We offer morning, midday and after school programs based on your family’s needs, for homeschool and public school students. Please contact us to schedule your group’s program or to join an existing group.

Registration forms can be filled out on the computer and emailed to us, or printed out and mailed. Payments can be made with cash, check, PayPal or Venmo (@PlacerNatureCenter).
