Placer Nature Center and Roseville Utility Exploration Center present an exciting and informative series of lectures with topics ranging from science to culture intertwined with current environmental issues, both local and worldwide.
Presented by leading researchers, professionals and scientists; the First Friday Lecture Series provide an overview of subjects such as outer space, plants, animals and human culture. Lively question and answer periods follow each presentation with the opportunity to meet the presenter afterward.

Lectures start promptly at 7:30 PM, typical length of presentation is 45-60 mins. Please arrive early as there are no seat reservations. Stay after for Q&A, raffle of local goods and services. Presenter(s) will also be available for personal introductions and further discussion.
